He was a calming presence when needed (before the ceremony), and a camera-toting ninja the rest of the time (during the ceremony and reception). Scott photographed our wedding in September 2022. The photos turned out beautifully, in exactly the documentary style we wanted, and Scott was a pleasure to work with! All of our guests commented on his kindness, professionalism and ability to capture candid moments. We would definitely work with Scott again for future important moments!

Scott is an incredible photographer! He captured so many incredible moments at our wedding and later, with our kids at some family photo shoots. He's calm, easygoing and fun to have around which is so important if he's spending the whole day with you!

My husband and I absolutely love our wedding photos, we couldn't be any happier. We have a lot of friends and family compliment us on them. We have even had friends admit that they were sorry they did not also have Scott photograph their wedding, as they unfortunately ended up being very unhappy with their photos in the end. Scott was great to work with leading up to our big day, he always stayed in communication and was reachable. Extremely reliable and on time. He was so much fun to work with on our wedding day, and made sure at the end of the evening to touch base with us before he left to ask if there were any photos we feel that he missed. He captured a lot of beautiful moments we didn't even realize he was photographing. We love looking back on them and reliving the day all over again, with tears and laughter!

Scott was my wedding photographer in 2015 and I found him through the vendor directory on the Wedding Bells website. My husband and I were not very keen on wedding photography that is forced and very obviously posed, so when I looked through Scott’s portfolio, we were really drawn to his ability to catch such a emotion with his candid approach. We had interviewed three different photographers and we felt the most comfortable with Scott. He is courteous, professional and likeable, which made it easy to act natural around him when we were taking pictures while getting ready for the ceremony. By the end of the night, I barely noticed Scott was there clicking away on his camera! His processing time is also quite good, considering how long I have heard some couples have had to wait for their photos from other companies. I highly recommend Scott and his services!

Scott came highly recommended and after meeting it was an obvious choice to work with him for our wedding. My husband and I were confident Scott would capture the important family photos as well as the special, intimate moments that are hard to plan for and describe. Scott was patient enough to meet with us a few times throughout the process and was always available to answer questions along the way. On the day of he was great to have around and the final product was phenomenal. We couldn't have asked for better photos.

Scott made our dreams come true! Out of all of the wedding details, choice of photographer was the one that meant the most to my partner and I. We wanted to have someone who excelled at documentary style photography so that we and our guests could relax and enjoy the wedding without taking time to pose for photos. Scott helped us realize this dream. The pictures are absolutely breathtaking, natural, and artistic. When we go through the pics (which we can't stop doing!) it's like a journey through everyone's emotions. To top it off, Scott was wonderful and fun to work with! It was a blessing to have him be a part of our day.

We absolutely love every photo that Scott took between our engagement photos and wedding photos. You can tell from his website and blog he is very talented but you don't realize how incredible his timing is until he captures a look on your husbands face that says it all or the pure joy of your grandmother as she dances the night away. We also really appreciated his commitment to getting the right angle, which included lying on a beach in May on the water's edge just to catch the right light. He was a joy to work with and get to know!

Scott is a highly talented, creative photographer who was able to capture our multi-day, multicultural wedding in a photo-journalistic, artistic style that is simply wonderful. When we look through our photos, the snapshots string together seamlessly in our minds to recreate the days in an almost cinematic way. With Scott, you don't need a videographer ;) Our wedding was also unique in that we had a fusion South Asian, South American and Canadian style wedding, and Scott was able to capture the unique cultural aspects/traditions of our wedding perfectly. Every time we look through our photos, we enjoy them even more.Scott is not only a talented photographer, but also lovely to work with. He is friendly, approachable, kind, calm, professional and flexible, and he goes above and beyond, not only only during your event but before and after as well. And that makes all the difference for an event as important to you as your wedding. Scott stayed for the entire duration of both our events (unlike what seems to be an industry norm of photographers only adhering to strict hours), and this was despite him feeling a little under-the-weather at the time.
